Almonds are a great source of protein. Take them with fruits, salads and smoothies to balance out the carbs you’re intaking. They are also a great source of monounsaturated fats which are needed by the body. They are also great sources of vitamin E, magnesium and manganese. Don’t exceed 25-30 almonds a day and don’t eat them all at once because they have small amounts of toxins within them too, which would be dangerous in high doses. All these and the fact that they give you a full feeling makes them a good food in moderation to help lose weight, manage cholesterol and mange the cardiovascular health.
